Earth Island's Capacity Collaborative, along with a coalition of cities and nonprofits, is suing the Trump administration over their funding freezes. These funding freezes are having immediate and direct impacts in communities across the country as they are suddenly unable to advance projects that address local air and water pollution, help localities adapt to climate change, create local jobs, enhance mobility, and support the small farmers and growers we depend on. Southern Environmental Law Center is co-counseling with the Public Rights Project to represent the co-plaintiffs in this matter, and are seeking a preliminary injunction to ensure that funds flow while the court determines the merits of the case.
