Pushing Schools to be Carbon-Neutral

In 2021, Webber co-founded the Northwest School Carbon Neutrality Task Force, a group of students, parents, and faculty who, over the course of a year, researched how her Seattle high school could become carbon neutral by 2030.

Annika Weber, a youth leader who was recently recognized for her accomplishments in the environmental movement by the 2022 Brower Youth Awards joins Terra Verde host Fiona McLeod to discuss her work organizing her Seattle high school’s transition to carbon neutrality without the use of offsets.
