I am proud to live in the East Bay and to be part of such a dynamic and innovative community. Professionally, I am an biologist, gardener, urban farmer, landscaper, aesthetic tree pruner, and permaculturalist. I have my own gardening business that brings all of these roles together. I use my photography to document and interact with this inspiring movement that is connecting people to the land, their food, each other, and themselves. Two local book projects have come out recently that have included my photography: The Vegetable Gardener’s Guide to Permaculture: Creating an Edible Ecosystem as well as Sustainable Revolution: Permaculture in Ecovillages, Urban Farms and Communities Worldwide. I am working to build our community and a sustainable future.
