Mission Valley Preserve / San Diego River restoration project image

The project removed 20 tons of trash from abandoned transient camps and .8 acres of non-native plants in a cottonwood-willow riparian corridor along the San Diego River. Native plant restoration on this uncovered area was completed and and 3 interpretive panels to promote community stewardship were installed.
