This grant was used to Organize restoration/education events to remove non-native species within the project area and replant with native plants and shrubs. The project promoted strong community involvement and participation in restoring a reach of Laguna Creek. The project fostered education about wetland ecosystems and watershed management, which has built community capacity to complete additional restoration projects along the creek.
