Goleta Slough High Marsh

Grantee: County of Santa Barbara
Award: $12000
Total Cost: $124000
The Goleta Slough High Marsh Restoration project restored and enhanced high marsh and slough margin habitat near the mouth of Goleta Slough. The project included the removal of iceplant, Myoporum shrubs and other exotic species, planting native plant species, building two observation decks, and installation of four interpretive signs.
