MonGol Environmental Conservation aims to preserve environment and protect the nomadic way of life in Mongolia by conducting research and training of scientists and experts to be environmental and civil leaders, establishing partnerships with international academic, governmental, and non-governmental organizations. The project increases public awareness by gathering, exchanging and disseminating information on environment through international conferences, media, workshops, expeditions and World Wide Web as well as strengthens capacity building of the local NGOs to improve environmental assessment, monitoring of reclamation work and public policy in Mongolia.
