Building on the experience of SEN's Russian Environmental Partnership Project (REPP), in 2004, The Altai Project is improving communication, transportation and providing basic support for three protected areas of the Altai region.
We work with both protected areas staff and regional NGOs to improve and strengthen existing protected areas.
And we are developing strategies for protecting additional land in the region.
