A project of Earth Island Institute, The Center for EcoPerspectives (formerly
Yggdrasil) has as its mission furthering global sustainability. The
Center conducts research and disseminates information relating to environmental and ecological
issues. It was founded in 1994 and is directed by Mary Byrd Davis.
Earth Island
Institute works for solutions to environmental problems by promoting citizen
action and sponsoring a diverse network of projects. Based in San
Francisco, it was founded in 1982 by David Brower.The Center for
EcoPerspectives is active in the following areas:

Nuclear France: materials and sites (La France nucléaire: matières et
sites) is a guide to the French nuclear industry, which was published in 2002
and is being updated.
The Uranium Enrichment Project, active from December 1999 through February 2002,
has been reintroduced to the Web due to requests in 2006 for material generated by the
project.
 EcoPerspectives
is the sponsor of
PrimalNature.org with news of eastern old-growth forests and other areas not
directly disrupted by humans.
Green Tourism
