One way to honor David's life is by ensuring that the work he began is continued and strengthened. In 1997 Earth Island launched the David Brower Legacy Campaign to endow a fund to provide small grants to innovative environmental initiatives, to foster the development of young environmental leaders and to bring David's message of Conservation, Preservation and Restoration to wider audiences.
